Why Bombinhas
Bombinhas is where I grew up. Break even in the first year, own capital, in a physical, seasonal business. 7,485 people served over the summer, NPS 71, 4.6 on Google.
How I treated a food park like a product
I structured the business plan as a design project: system, decision, structure. Unit economics, cost of goods per product, break-even point. A design decision positioned the IPA draft beer as a signature product, not a margin one, a bet that later showed up as 73% of revenue concentrated in three products. Brand designed from scratch, from visual identity to menu, including production of more than 20 live music events.
The revenue engine
Burger, draft beer and charcuterie board made up 73% of revenue. January alone concentrated 38% of the period's sales, which defined where to invest.
Reflection
NPS 71 and Google 4.6 validated the experience, but I never captured the expansion, I led the exit after the season instead. The business itself was the product I designed, direct evidence of thinking business before thinking screen.
