# How I work

This isn't "about me". It's how I operate.

## Design is a business capability

Design doesn't exist as decoration or as isolated craft. The role of design leadership is to reduce uncertainty, create alignment, improve decision quality and help the team move faster with clarity. If design doesn't change what the business decides, it's an ornament.

## Research without a decision is just an archive

I run research to decide, not to validate what I already chose. At Bipa I ran 40 Jobs-to-be-Done interviews myself. The context and empathy of a real conversation can't be delegated. The jobs structure became the permanent context of an internal agent: the team uses it to validate hypotheses, understand trade-offs and set quarter bets. A user quote becomes copy, not illustration.

## Strategy and execution with no gap

Most senior people pick a side. I operate on both. In the same half-year I wrote a strategy memo for leadership and merged 93 pull requests in production. I write code when the problem calls for it, not to prove a point. Closing the distance between design intent and implementation makes better product faster.

## Data decides, it doesn't decorate

It's not installing GA4 and waiting. It's building 13 dashboards from scratch, setting up a conversion pipeline, implementing cross-platform attribution, and using all of it to reach an analysis that changes direction. Organic drives 4.7x higher LTV than paid, so prioritize SEO and lifecycle. The data doesn't just exist: it decides.

## AI as infrastructure, not a crutch

I don't use AI to do the work for me. I use it as thinking infrastructure: custom skills for JTBD, writing, design review and SEO. A persistent memory vault with hundreds of notes, tone-of-voice rules, non-negotiable principles and behavioral segmentation. And tracking of traffic coming from AIs in production, closing the loop.

## The provocation comes from inside the work

I don't criticize the market in the abstract. I show what I did differently and let the contrast do the work. Autonomy yes, superiority no. The honesty has warmth.

## Where I work best

High ambiguity, early stage to Series B, where every decision still truly matters. Lean environment, little room for error, complex product. That's where my kind of work pays off most.
