# Experience

Twenty-three years in the career, ten of them in product for startups. The timeline below is the summary. Each product company has a full case in `/ai/cases`.

A note on tenure, because the raw metric is misleading: Xerpay and Betterfly are the same story told across two names, I was acquired along with Xerpay by Betterfly in 2021 and stayed with the same group, with a promotion to Head of Product Design Global in 3 months. Easy Carros was a scoped engagement, already concluded, so its length reflects the agreed scope, not how long I wanted to stay. The real pattern behind the short tenure is studying fast and delivering value fast, not turnover.

## Bipa (Jan 2025 to present, current job)
I lead design at Bipa, a Bitcoin-native fintech. This is where I work today, not a closed case. 300 thousand users, R$4 billion processed. I operate across research, strategy, data, code and execution at the same time. 40 Jobs-to-be-Done interviews run by me, 93 pull requests merged in 4 months, web signup with 29.9% organic approval, SEO and GEO infrastructure built from scratch.

## Easy Carros (Apr 2023 to Sep 2024, concluded)
Head of Product at the largest fleet management platform for rental companies in Brazil. 350 clients, 130 thousand vehicles. I built the product function from scratch and turned a reactive operation into a proactive product: simultaneous items from 195 to 13, lead time from 22 to 9 days, deploy from 1 to 8 times a month.

## Betterfly (Oct 2021 to Mar 2022)
Product Design Lead, promoted to Head of Product Design Global in 3 months. LATAM's first social impact unicorn, US$125M Series C. I unified 4 design teams coming from 4 simultaneous M&As: 35 people, 4 countries, 3 languages, one single structure.

## Xerpay (Nov 2020 to Jan 2022)
Product Design Lead at a salary advance fintech. 45 companies, 60 thousand users. I transformed the discovery process: user testing cycle from 1 month to under 1 week. Acquired by Betterfly in 2021.

## MAR Ventures, formerly e-Genius (Jul 2016 to Jul 2020)
Partner and Head of Design at a venture builder. Responsible for design across the whole portfolio. I watched the operation grow from 30 people in Pinheiros to 200 on Faria Lima. I built teams for Remessa Online, Finpass, Modiax and others.

## Remessa Online (2016 to 2020, inside MAR)
I joined as the first product designer and built the team from scratch to 12 people over 4 years. I reached Head of Design. I redesigned the signup, transfer and acquisition journeys at the largest currency exchange platform in Latin America. US$229M exit to EBANX in 2021.

## Agency and craft (2003 to 2015)
UI design and creative supervision. Self-taught vector illustration: the Maserati MC12 was the study project. Clients: Embraer, O Boticário, Itaú Cultural, Globo, Claro, TIM, Technos, Revista Piauí, Saraiva. It's the origin of the repertoire, back when the problem was the screen, not the business.
